Arbor Grinders for Sale, October 18th

LAST CALL FOR AN ARBOR GRINDER!

We are continuing to empty out or storage unit. We want to be out of it by the end of November.

There are several Arbor Grinders for sale at $150 ea.

If you want to see them & buy them Rich will be at the storage unit this coming Wednesday, Oct 18th, at 6 pm. It’s first to claim a grinder, you get it. You can also claim one sight unseen by calling Rich. We are offering these to our membership at this price.  If they are not sold by next Wednesday they are going on Craig’s list at a higher price.

Presidents Message

  • Thank you Mark for another great show! Outstanding!!I I am so proud of what Mark has accomplished these past 2 years in getting our show back up and running. He has exceeded all my expectations and wishes. I also want to thank all the CMS members, family members and volunteers from other clubs that helped out at the show. Couldn’t have done it without your help. Mark has been a valuable member of the Board of Directors for several years now. I would also like to note that Mark is the person that rewrote and maintains our website and organized

Meeting Announcements

  • Meeting Topic: Mark will be giving a recap of our show. The good, the bad and the ?? Then Joan from Jerry’s Rock and Shop, Kent will be speaking at tonight. We don’t know her topic but she is always very interesting so plan on attending. Show ‘n Tell: What did you get at our show? Or show us a recent  purchase you made.

  • I am very proud of our Junior Tumbler’s. Alex Danneman, Isaiah Fu, Isabel Viejo, Alexa Viejo. Our Juniors did an outstanding job on their display cases. Alex show off his large fossil collection taking 1st Place ribbon in this category and earning his Fossil & collection badges. Isaiah show off his collection of rocks, minerals and fossils taking 1st Place ribbon in this category and earning his Collection badge. Isabel & Alexa both won 2nd Place ribbons for their category and age group. They each earned their Showmanship badge. Congratulation to each of you for a job well done!  

  • The Young Tumblers (youth members) have their own door prize drawing at each meeting. We encourage our Young Tumblers to participate in Show ‘n Tell each month. We also have a section of our monthly newsletter for them only to earn Rock Bucks. Rock Bucks can be spent on the monthly raffle or the club auctions we have throughout the year. The website and newsletter now has your own section. Be sure to look at to see what’s new this month and any announcements.
